I have intalled Norton 360 All-In-One Security, it works fine but Livupdate give me error. Everytime i do liveupdade then after sometimes a error message comes and says "Liveupdate could not complete Error 5.

I tried so many times but evertime error message comes.

Please anyone help me, how can i do liveupdate successfully.

By the way, Norton found 3 viruses and 1 trojan that NOD32 missed. Think about it!

hi i have been doing this for years this works thanks 9 down downlode a retail ver or one that can support phone help after you install this software it will ask for you to register it might take a few try's after it say's it cant register a pop up on explorer or firefox should pop should not be connected to internet after that hit the key on the key gen that says click here to enable phone activation baam this should do the trick the rest is easy make shurr you type numbers in right ps it dosent cheak for windowx xp key's or any but be warned the ad on pack that you can get from norton will cheak your machine for a good copy of xp but all you have to do is use your way of registering xp agine just do it all agine if you down lode that pack so in other words try on your own risk i have no viruses but always be carfull nothing is free always cheak i use avg and spy ware like spybot ect good luck

I tried to install it following those steps but I never received a blank browser window and when I hit the 'Enable Phone Activation' on KG an error window appear with the message 'Could not find window handle. Are you at the web activation?' Even when I'm not at the web activation. Is there any other way to activate with that KG? Maybe after the 15 days trial? Can I just hit the activate button on the Norton main window? Please help. Thax!

Man i got to tell u that this is a very good security product. I would recommend this if:
1) u trust norton anymore.
2) u have a very very high speed internet connection because online backup and storage is going to need it. They provide 2.5 GB of free space to all its norton 360 users.

Try this software. Its worth ur money and time. It has redesigned its code. Its scanning has improved. Its detection has improved a lot, equivalent to kaspersky (nod32 is way behind the two of them). It uses SONAR technology far superior to symantec's own BLOODHOUND technology (not used now). It has added behavioural data scan technique that provides advanced heuristics. It must be noted that earlier symantec used to have only basic heuristic scan. Now with its SONAR technology it provides advanced heuristics that does not rely on malware signature updates. It makes its own decision. I had some files in the pen drive that were detected by kaspersky, nod32 but not norton until now. It detected all of them and deleted them without any problem. Common guys give it another chance. I swithed from nod32 to norton 360. I dont regret it as of now. So go for it. although one downside is that the product has been made fully automated. So it does not require users opinion. Also because of that it does not provide manual scanning and right click scan option. Trust me u wont need it though. On opening any file (infected) it would delete it. It is fully automatic. thanx.

anyone running vista who has problems with the activation........RESTART YOUR PC. i too couldnt get the phone activation to come up, a restart fixed the prob. installed/activated/updated and working fine.

Damn norton it has slowed down my computer. I take back all those kind words that i wrote about it. Curse it. It has taken upto one fourth of my ram and has slowed down my internet connection. It went from 200kb/s to 40kb/s. Cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurse it. Norton i wish that ur company be destroyed and u be ruined. Long live nod32. Fuck u norton.

Don`t waste of time.I cheked all this versions (more then 7 or 8 ) N360 and Norton System Works (All) without phone activation.Now REAL working NAV2007 NIS2007 and Confidential.That All.

Don't install the trail of Norton 360 because it has "activate be telephone" totally removed. Be sure your installing RETAIL which is about 130 MB (RAR compressed). Also don't install this over the Norton 360 trial, uninstall the trial first. The original download hosted by 9Down was the TRIAL & many people downloaded it FAST & uploaded it to rapidshare to gain points, so many of the links are for the TRIAL. Don't post saying it does not work.......

When the instillation of certain updates repetedly fails this means you're copy of windows was too infected for it to gain full access and protect.Normally a re-install of windows is required to fix the issue.

Well, if you are sure you want Norton for protection (not that smart, ZA+Kaspersky OR ZA+NOD32 is way better) then Norton 360 has everything Norton S.W & Norton I.S have & uses less resources.

i just upgraded to vista business i try to install it but everytime i click the phone button nothing happens i restarted and still nothing some help please

I installed Norton 360 and the key gen worked perfectly. Then i tried to run live update and it started ok but in the end it crashed with an error - error 5. Can someone tell me if the live update is working ok, otherwise i'll uninstall the program.

I downloaded, burned, installed and got all cool to the part of activation, wont get the phone thing to come up (I have Windows Vista), I restarted because someone said that worked but not for me... any ideas? (my internet was unplugged)

This is an advise for all Vista users of Norton 360.
Follow all the provided instructions, Please run the provided K'eygen with "administration priviledges" (right click on the file first), then when the browser window pops-up, click on "ENABLE PHONE ACTIVATION", then close the browser window and then click next.
There's no such thing as the guide says that a the phone activation will magically pop-up, you need to press NEXT if you're using VISTA. Otherwide, the phone activation will not work.

I installed norton360 and followed carefully the instructions to activate it by phone, but when I clicked the fat button to enable the Phone activation, nothing happened. Please anyone I need more help.

DISSCONNECT THE INTERNET. Install the App. and start using as a trial then open norton activation window When the Empty Broser window opens but cannot connect(empty web page,leave it open) to anything, then press the
Activate by Phone button in the KG.

Everytime no phone activation window appears close the Blank Web Page and press activate Norton again. A Blank browser window will open again press the button in the KG again and so on and so on and so on. Untill a new symantec window appears for the phone activation codes bit.

I helped a guy from the UK activate his Nis2007.2 no worries and this works aswell.

360 Trial will Activate from kg. after the 15day trial is started.

The phone Activation is not hard.
A hint for those installing Vista.
You must select use the recomended security and updates option(GREEN ONE) when first doing setup
OR The Antivirus and Malware Protection will not report to Windows that they are up to date and both working.
This is a VISTA FLAW as all AV's are doing this.

T've successed without any troubles i installing Norton 360 on XP, but when I tried to install it on Vista - according to the notes that I've read here, I tried several times - but without any success. Could smb give a hint ?

If I tried several times to install and afterworth uninstalled it, could somebody tell where are still some files that norton remains in registry that I cannot retrieve to delete.
