Does anyone use Norton products anymore? Not interested even for free!

I sometimes use PortableNortonSystemworks2006. WInDOctor is (was) very good registry fixer, I also like DiskDoctor. But in portable there is no Defrag :( and Ghost sux.

btw. Does enyone know which prog can override ntfs capacity problem while recover by ghost like program from backup to ntfs with other partition capacity than backuped before??

I liked NIS/NAV 2007 but the beta version of 360 was a real let down, I hope they solved all the issues >.>

I have been using kaspersky internet security latest 6.0 version all patches and updates and i m satisfied with it's performance and it's detection capabilities of threats. I have all sorts of Antivirus and Internet security Like Norton Internet Security 2007 and McAfee Total Protection 2007 panda internet security 2007 Zonelabs Internet Sercurity Latest one and bit defender latest Nod32 latest but i found that all r crap except McAfee, Nod32 and Kaspersky. Mcafee Slows down the PC but yeah detection rate is good and global threat monitoring but in case of Nod32 yeah it detection and cleans every virus but there UI is ugly and it does not come with firewall so i prefered to use Kaspersky it has all features and power....... Although Zone alarm is better with KAV engine but this 7.0 version is unstable it made my PC hang. Another AV like AVG, bit defender norton r memory hogs and they does not detect every threat...... Signature files are also outdated if we compare McAfee and Kaspersky with them So Guys Fo on With KASPERSKY BECAUSE IT IS THE KING

once Activated connect
the net for all AV & IS updates
then do windows upating.

enable norton firewall(Let it take over windows when asked)
enable norton popup blocker
leave norton ad blocker off .

After a slightly slowed startup(old cpu only)
there is nothing to complain about.

Anyone complaining about norton was already infected
when they installed it.

i also beta tested it for a bit and it did a nice job. i ultimately switched back to NIS 2007 because it had ad-blocking, but now that there is an add-on pack i'm thinking of switching again.

I got norton 360 and i have had some problems with the crack i read all the posts and some of my problems are similer, now i have bad spelling so try to guess what im saying if u cant understand it kk and if anyone is having problems with in stallation heres a great website but its in Arbic but uses images and u can tranlate using google if u want, http://www.galil-school.net/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5052, now some of the problems that ive had r simalar to some peoples here and no one told them how to fix them, i hve windos xp on all my computers ok, i installed norton on one and it worked perfectally other than that the live update always says error 5 but right befor that i find my self disconnected from my crapy internet so maybe thats the problem and i need to connect a better internet connection which i think i have. my other problem is that my norton on the other computer always says has to configure when it configures it says that u have to regester ur product which edge tells u to never do. so what do i do plz help me out... i am desperate and have so many virus on my computer that spread fast too, some got onto all my revoable disks including my sis ipod and my other computer, plz i need imediate help.
oh yes i also needed to add that i treid to redo my installation but the norton key that i had is still coming making no difference but wasting my time, and i needed to ask how do i remove a virus norton 360 has found because norton only takes the virus away, and keeping the pc from using it but i like to delete the virus cuz if norton gets unistalled the virus comes back.. so plz help asap.. thx
