For the last 2 years I had Nod32 and got wiped out in September of each year.
Got a virus that killed all my exes on all my partitions (Drivers, Installs etc).
All because Nod32 was a week late with their signiture updates to recognise the virus I got.
Just tried version 3 and boy does it slow my my machine down. Especially copy files/programs from 1 drive to another. Also installing software takes 2 to 3 times longer with Nod32.
I have a resonable XP computer Core2 Duo 6700, 2 Gig ram, 750GB Samsung.

hi unplug you internet use the right version with i cant remember is if you use any other version it will not work if this is the right patch just leave the username and password alone let it set it self up like your doing the trail after you install it it should not reboot your pc if its asking you to reboot you probably have the wrong version of nod32 and it will not work patch it with temdono then reboot
not go to advanced setup then to update then under the server to be used change that to automatic close update and bam :) gl

I JUST USED THE ESS 3.0.650 AS I LIKED THIS AV VERY MUCH. RECENTLY ONE OF MY FRND BRING ME HARD DISK FULL OF VIRUSES.
I AM HAPPILY SCANNING AND ESET FOUND 1496 VIRUSES. BUT WHAT MADE ME FURIOUS THAT IT CANT CLEAN THE VIRUSES OUT FROM THE DISK. IT SHOWS A MESSAGE THAT ACCESS DENIED. I QUICKLY SCAN IT WIH AVIRA AND IT FOUND 746 VIRUS BUT CLEANED ALL THOSE.
MY QUESTION IS BEING THE BEST ANTIVIRUS IN THE MARKET WHY DOESN'T IT CLEAN A SINGLE VIRUS ALTHOUGH IT DETECTS THEM.
CAN WE TRUST TRUST THIS AV? I THOUGHT THAT IT IS THE BEST AV & ARGUED WITH MY FRNDS WHO R USING KAV OR NAV.

HI,I've used this release of nod32 in a cybercafé, it works.But i've no internet at home and i wanna make my antivirus updated. help!!

I JUST USED THE ESS 3.0.650 AS I LIKED THIS AV VERY MUCH. RECENTLY ONE OF MY FRND BRING ME HARD DISK FULL OF VIRUSES. I AM HAPPILY SCANNING AND ESET FOUND 1496 VIRUSES. BUT WHAT MADE ME FURIOUS THAT IT CANT CLEAN THE VIRUSES OUT FROM THE DISK. IT SHOWS A MESSAGE THAT ACCESS DENIED. I QUICKLY SCAN IT WIH AVIRA AND IT FOUND 746 VIRUS BUT CLEANED ALL THOSE. MY QUESTION IS BEING THE BEST ANTIVIRUS IN THE MARKET WHY DOESN'T IT CLEAN A SINGLE VIRUS ALTHOUGH IT DETECTS THEM. CAN WE TRUST TRUST THIS AV? I THOUGHT THAT IT IS THE BEST AV & ARGUED WITH MY FRNDS WHO R USING KAV OR NAV. I HAVE POSTED THE VIRUS WITH INFO BUT SEEMS THAT MY POST HAVE BEEN DELETED. I LIKED THE ESET AV VERY MUCH BUT SAD THAT I CANT TRUST IN IT AND SIT BACK ENJOY A PEACEFUL LIFE WITH IT. GUESS I HAVE TO SWITCH TO ANOTHER AV. NAV-08 IS THE BEST AV NOW. BUT NONE CAN GET IT CRACKED. OR I STOP USING THIS FUCKED UP AV'S.

You don't need to switch to another AV as you dont know yet how to setup this ESET. What you need to do is to open the ESET interface, press f5 to open the setup -> Antivirus and antispyware -> setup -> cleaning -> cleaning level -> choose 'strict cleaning' -> the program will attempt to clean or delete all infected files without user intervention!!! Solve the problem yet? Yes it does!!!

Please help,

when the trial time ended, they make the menu unable to open. i've entered the new username and password but it still won't work. so i have to uninstall it first, then i have to install nod32 back on.. this is very inconvinient.. does anyone have a better patch ?
