Just a little info, the version posted here is a demo, and a serial cannot be entered into the program to register it. That's what the d is for in the file name.

In ATIH 2009 you can add serial when you install it, or after installation in program. In ATIH 9,10,11 are two version [b]d[/b] and [b]s[/b]

Fardeen,a dna ny others wishing to know. TrueImage 2009 does have a problem with memory sticks running U3 technology. I have a support case open now with them to solve this issue. Other then this problem, I still think it is well worth installing. They have made some nice changes.

A retailversion is offered already,but can not install,for there is no key or keygen available,till yet.Is there anybody who has a key or keygen for this program,please??!!You can not update your older 11-version,because it just wont install without a proper key!!

Yes, this is the final version. There is an update option above and it says no newer version is available. It will be so good if anyone finds its serial, i am also searching its serial everywhere.

I don't know why, but setup files TrueImage2009_s_en.exe (from rapidshare) and TrueImage2009_d_en.exe (from official website) are same file with different name. I made binary comparison and it's really same file

See hololo's links below and zipang's explanation. Looks like they combined it into one file with the serial making the distinction between demo and retail. Interesting, when you download from hololo's link, it appears to come directly from an Acronis server.

@Ferdeen yes you right this is the same file :) look at my post on 2008-10-08 21:11:32. From version 2009 we have one file, by installation we can entered serial or later in program (click ALT on keyboard -> Help -> Enter the Serial Number)

TrueImage2009_s_en.exe & TrueImage2009_d_en.exe are the same file. So, if you have serial, it will be retail version with TrueImage2009_d_en.exe

All (longtime) Acronis users know that the "d" copies can't be registered, even if it asks for a serial it won't work. Used to be you could find an official download link of the "s" versions through f i l e m i r r o r s . c o m but not for at least a couple of years now since Acronis tightened their security.

Some are "d" versions and it`s easy to change to an "s" and when compared people can say there is no difference... of course not !

I installed the retail version,i'm not a newbie,entered the serial, and everything is a wonder, and becomes a a registered version.if i move the date forward by one month, said the trial period is expired.

Yeah, I got the same thing. Wow! This might just be getting to be too much trouble. 10 and 11 work for me--might just be worth sticking with that for now. If the "s" and "d" version are the same file (which seems to be the case), what do they have that keeps it going?

This problem does not exist with German version 9608 but does exist with English 9608 and 9615. Can't try German 9615 because no serial available.

Sorry to say but key that comes with GERMAN version is the same as for v.12.0.608 and in fact it doesn`t work, probably was backlisted.That makes me to think what is going to happen to the 2 for EN version that still work but, for how long ?

I tested TrueImage2009_d_en.exe and TrueImage2009.9615_s_en.exe with Beyond Compare.
They are exactly SAME!!!

So, NO NEED to download from rapid or other sites.
I installed TrueImage2009_d_en.exe and changed clock one month ahead. It did not expire.

Just download d version and put a serial
become retail version. You don't have to
activate online and actually block it with
firewall or the serial might be blacklisted.

Conclusion, we don't need any download sites.

I advanced Computer date 1 month and in fact it shows 15 days left for the trial version to end but could unlocked (being date 17th November), using one of the 2 keys again.

As there is no "About" the only way to see if this is really v.12.0.9615, is on ESET folder clicking on "True Image.exe" and also "TrueImageMonitor.exe" then choosing Properties and it shows v.12.0.0.9615 on both files.

the patch does not works.if after entering the serial, and used the patch, it sends the PC date one month behind, seem to work, no longer the message trial version expired, but if you try to create a backup, there says that to do so must register the program

1- Install ATIH (2009)-(ENG) v.12.0.9615 from above link posted on 2008-10-19 02:22:58 AND DOT USE KEYS;

2- DO NOT RESTART COMPUTER YET; Copy/paste Patch to Acronis Folder at Program Files;

3- Apply Patch and RESTART Computer NOW;

4- It`s done ! - You can start doing your Backups and Recover from Backups without problem.

Did a new OS Backup and Recovered being date 19 /NOV / 2008 and all is normal.

forceandform is right. You know, there seems to be no end to the obstacles with this version. 10 and 11 work just fine, and actually the more I use this new version the less I like it and the more I like 10 and 11. This version doesn't really let you know what it's doing--just tries to take over the process, kind of like Windows Vista does. There seems to be much more control for the user with older versions. However, if you feel you have to use 12, all you have to do is install with the serial number and make a boot disk and use it that way. There are no problems with that, dates or no dates changed. Besides, I've always used this program with just a boot disk anyway. The only use I've ever had for the Windows interface is to occasionally view my images.

just as genenio said creat a boot disc after u install the serial. its all u will be needing without any problem to restore and create backup. topic closed. there is truly a problem with the software. even if u install it without any internet connection and advances the date, u will still get trial over. maybe its a demo after all. but the boot disc will work fine

Put the patch into the directory after installing and run the patch, do not use the serial number!

Warning for Vista user :
You must run the patch as administrator,if not you can't crack the file !

the patch works for the desktop application but it does NOT work for " Builder." when u try to backup with a CD it makes you get the error message that its the "Trial Version" !!!!!!!!!

i found a workaround:
1. install app and crack as jofre says
2. launch desktop app
3. enter a serial number (even if its expired it will work for one session)
4. verify ability to enter a serial number has been removed.
5. under Tools menu select "Create Bootable Rescue Media"
6. close desktop app

now the newly built CD can make backups OK. and the desktop patched desktop app is unaffected, ie it still makes backups too.

I use Symantec Ghost 11.02 - just 2 boot CD and never fails.
...And none program installed when these CD`s are ready to work.
