Chasing the retail version is a complete waste of time , I use Acronis Workstation , it does exactly the same and more.

Hey Drooper what version of Acronis Workstation are you using? Also I have heard that this software has a KickAss compression ratio when you backup a machine with this. Does Acronis Workstation have an awesome compression ratio?

I use Workstation 9.1 with Acronis Universal Restore.
The default compression ratio is 3:1 , so a 30 Gig image would automatically be reduced to 10 Gig.( approx )
There are options to reduce it further , but to be honest , i haven't tried it cos of a bad experience in the past , not related to Acronis , where i used maximum compression and saved my data to DVD's and lost the whole lot.
I've been using Acronis for a year or two now and stick with the default setting for long term saving but am pleased to hear you praising its capabilities , i'll bear it in mind - Thank You
